The program in History provides a means for the critical investigation and understanding of a variety of religious, theological, and social issues from late antiquity to the late twentieth century. This work is done primarily in the history of Christianity. Students may use a variety of methodologies, but must specialize in one historical period. At present, strengths in our faculty include late antiquity, Orthodoxy, the Middle Ages, Reformation and American religious history. The GTU offers MA and Doctoral level degree programs.
