The Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics prepares secondary school teachers of Mathematics to implement quality mathematics programs as envisioned by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in its Standards and the California State Mathematics Framework. The program focus is on the study of teaching practice and the world of the classroom. Offered in non-traditional blocks of time, the program aims to accommodate working teachers.
