M.S. in Counseling and College Student Personnel and M.S. in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services with PPS Credential
California Lutheran University’s M.S. in Counselor Education programs are designed to prepare individuals to perform counseling services in schools at all grade levels. We offers two distinct degrees - M.S. in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services with PPS Credential, and M.S. in Counseling and College Student Personnel. The Pupil Personnel Services specialization allows individuals to become school counselors in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Upon completion of this program, candidates will be eligible for the Clear Pupil Personnel Services Credential. Students who choose the College Student Personnel specialization are eligible to become counselors in colleges and universities. A consistent focus of both programs is placed on ethical principles with regular self-reflection activities that support your professional growth and development. The programs are offered at our main campus in Thousand Oaks, as well as graduate centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills.
