The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program is designed to prepare students for possible careers in the field of public health. The Master of Public Health is intended to create professionals who will be able to close the gap between the concepts and principles of public health and the realities of actual practice to improve health and well being. The MPH is a professional degree designed to provide health care and other professionals with an understanding of the public health sciences, population-based research, and the community practice of public health.
