The course further aims to facilitate a critical understanding of the law and its impact on actual practice within the health care system. In support of this critical approach it begins with an examination of the place of ethics in health care generally and in the contentious areas of birth and death in particular.
The course is based at the main Swansea campus on the sea front.
It is intended for health care professionals seeking to study legal issues pertinent to their work, for lawyers with a particular interest in the provision, regulation and delivery of health care, for graduates of a relevant discipline, for those going on to research and for anyone wanting to think about and discuss some of the hardest human decisions.
