This challenging course comprises a mix of taught modules, practical experience and research, providing the knowledge and skills necessary for entry into an increasingly international marketing environment as practising managers or researchers. Training in research methods forms an integral part of the course. This culminates in a dissertation - a substantial and original piece of research chosen by the student with the assistance of staff.
During the first stage, students follow the MSc core modules. During the second stage, students continue with research methods, follow a module in strategic marketing and select five specialist electives related to their interests. By the end of this stage, they will also have formulated their research (dissertation) proposal and started work on their dissertation. The final stage is devoted to the completion of the dissertation.
