This is a 12-months course split in 3 “semesters”, S1, S2 and S3.
It is made up of a taught element of 100 credits and an individual research project element of 20+60 credits for M.Sc. students and 20 credits for PG/Dip students.
The taught element is in the form of 10 and 20 credits modules taken in S1 and S2. The 20-credit PG/Dip project spans a linked module through S1 and S2 and is common to both MSc and PG/Dip students.
The 60-credit MSc research project is carried out in S3.
