The programme covers theory and practice of control and design, interfacing between real-world devices, autonomous processing and evaluation of acquired information, interaction with the user and intelligent decision making. Students will have access to a robotics club and research seminars exploring the future of robotics, and will work with an innovative project inspired by the latest developments in technology and society.
Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to satisfy the educational requirements for Chartered Engineer status.

Applicants with overseas qualifications can check their comparability with the UK equivalent through NARIC, who provide an advisory service.
If your first language is not English then evidence of English proficiency is required. The level of proficiency that is required can vary with the type of programme for which you are applying. The minimum IELTS score for acceptable English proficiency for entry is normally 6.5.
