In a rapidly globalising world, law firms, commercial enterprises and governmental organisations place a very high premium on graduates with commercial law expertise.
The LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law is ideally suited to students from a law, business, management, politics or other social science background. The skills and knowledge you will gain are particularly useful for a career in law, import-export, insurance, investment, banking and finance, shipping and freight, commodities or intellectual property. It would also appeal to those who intend to pursue careers in international and national trade and marketing bodies.
Research is fundamental to our range of LLM programmes, and here at Oxford Brookes University we encourage our students to become involved. Oxford attracts high calibre researchers and academics from all over the world as well as those closer to home, so you will have the opportunity to regularly attend seminars and lectures given by visiting speakers who are recognised world experts in the field of law.
The university library has an impressive range of legal holdings covering UK, European and international material, and a dedicated law librarian. You will also have access to the University of Oxford's Bodleian Law Library. Full time overseas fees £10,710. International scholarships available. Accommodation guaranteed.
