The Legal Practice Course aims to prepare students for general practice as a trainee solicitor and to provide a foundation for subsequent practice. The university has a long-standing reputation for training solicitors and was one of the first universities to be validated to run the Legal Practice Course. The course has a ?good? rating from The Law Society. The nature of much of the work is transactional, following through, for example, a conveyancing transaction or a motoring offence form start to finish. Textbooks are provided.
