MA.-European Criminology and Criminal Justice Systems
After obtaining a master degree in criminology, a (one year) specialised training in European Criminology and Criminal Justice Systems is possible. Courses taught in the first semester are: European Criminology, European Criminal Justice Systems, European Institutions of Criminal Policy and Comparative Methodology. For the second semester, students can choose four out of six seminars: security and prevention policy, police models, penal systems, private policing and security (sanction, punitive systems), organised crime and drug policy. Each seminar focuses on the European dimension and the comparison between the European Union countries.
