The first two years of the electrical engineering curriculum are common. They mainly comprise general courses. In the last year students pick an option that will enable them to adopt a limited profile in a given direction, i.e. applied electronics, micro-electronics and opto-electronics, communication techniques, computer science or control engineering and automation. Besides the graduation work the last year only includes option courses and elective courses. The student has a choice, subject to a number of preconditions, either to specialize further in the option picked or to strive for broader education. Moreover the curriculum offers a wide choice of non-technical courses as well as the possibility of going through an industrial training (as an elective course).
