About Us

Situated in Haifa, Technion was founded in 1912 and first opened its doors in 1924, making it the oldest university in Israel, and the only one who's founding father was Albert Einstein. Ranked among the top 50 technology universities in the world, Technion is home to 18 faculties, and over 60 advanced research centers and institutes, and a distinguished faculty of 620, including three Nobel Prize laureates. Technion graduates represent 70% of the high-tech workforce in Israel, having established the country's industrial infrastructure, reinforced its technological defense capabilities, and pioneered its technology-based enterprises.
