The Mission of the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering at Oregon State University is to: educate students to be work-ready and socially responsible B.S., M.Eng., and M.S. engineers who are prepared for successful careers or further study of chemical, biological, and environmental engineering; educate Ph.D. students to be leaders in research, academia and industry in the areas of chemical, biological, and environmental engineering; conduct innovative and internationally recognized research in chemical, biological, and environmental engineering; stimulate economic development in Oregon and nationwide by translation of research into the private sector; communicate chemical, biological, and environmental engineering knowledge to the public through educational outreach programs and policy consulting.
