With over 8000 students and more than 220 professors as well as about 200 lecturers and another 450 staff members at its two locations, Aachen and Juelich, the AcUAS ranks among the largest universities of applied sciences in Germany. In addition to a broad spectrum of engineering sciences, we also offer Design and Economics. Although the AcUAS was founded in 1971, some predecessor institutions have been operating for over a century. The AcUAS offers not only classical engineering degrees in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering – in an intensive dialogue with industry, politics and professional organizations, new and application-oriented programs are continually being developed.
