The GRADUATE DIVISION of BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES at the ALBERT EINSTEIN COLLEGE of MEDICINE houses the PhD and MD/PhD programs, as well as the Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Graduate students carry out cutting-edge research in disease-relevant areas such as BIOCHEMISTRY, BIOINFORMATICS, BIOPHYSICS, STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY, CANCER, DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGY, DRUG DESIGN, CELL & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY, GENETICS/GENOMICS, IMMUNOLOGY, MICROBIOLOGY, NEUROSCIENCE, STEM CELL BIOLOGY, and VACCINE DEVELOPMENT. Einstein also offers a new PhD track in CLINICAL INVESTIGATION. All PhD and MD/PhD students at Einstein receive full tuition remission, an annual stipend and subsidized housing in our student apartment complex. There are currently more than 1,100 Einstein PhD graduates holding academic and non-academic positions worldwide.
