Graduate Assistantships: The University of Nebraska-Kearney Department of HPERLS graduate assistantship positions for 2009-2010. Assistantships include tuition wavier and stipend. Positions are available in the Human Performance Lab, Athletic Training, Open Recreation and Intramurals. Human Performance Laboratory responsibilities include adult fitness programming, laboratory teaching and research related to physical activity promotion and obesity prevention among adults and children. Athletic Training positions assist with AT/team medical coverage as well as supervise students in the CAATE accredited undergrad program. Must be BOC certified or eligible to challenge the BOC examination. Open Recreation hires, trains, schedules, evaluates and retains quality equipment desk, facility supervisors and lifeguards.
