The UC Irvine Department of  Education educates leaders in discovering, creating, sharing, and applying education principles and practices from a multidisciplinary scholarship and multiculturalism.  Our faculty strive to improve educational practice through our high quality programs of instruction for present and future educational practitioners and educational researchers.   We collaborate directly with other educators to improve practices both in California and throughout the nation. As part of the University of California, at Irvine, a major research university, our faculty recognize the importance of integrative approaches to the training of educational practitioners and educational researchers via our various degree programs.
