The Design Studies Department offers three interdisciplinary, advanced degrees: M.S., M.F.A. and Ph.D. Within a program that integrates aesthetic, cultural, historical, physical, social, and technological knowledge; students in Design Studies may select specialization in interior environments or textiles/clothing forms. Degree candidates may specialize in research or creative practice while working with a diverse and distinguished faculty comprised of professionally active scholars, designers, and artists dedicated to excellence in teaching and mentoring.
