Although not required, many MSE students have bachelor's degrees in computer science. Our graduates enjoy the financial rewards, heightened responsibilities, and enhanced job challenges that accompany and MSE degree. The program builds on the software development and maintenance experience of working professionals. It covers the entire software development process; requirements definition, system analysis and design, implementation, validation, and delivery of the final system. The curriculum balances a core of technical and managerial courses with a wide variety of electives to address areas of personal interest.
