This program offers preparatory training and an introduction to more extensive research, but it represents a valuable learning experience in itself. It includes skills packages, an introduction to relevant historiography, specialised options and a dissertation. We provide practical seminars on the utilization of source materials and information, their presentation and management, with case-examples and model research proposals. You also receive training to develop your library research, quantitative and computer skills. The Historiography unit begins with common interest areas before diversifying into themes of direct relevance to your research interest. As the course units are modular, you can include any appropriate combinations in the MA in History.
