Administered by the Industrial Engineering department, this program has a professional focus and provides the opportunity for students with non-IE undergraduate degrees to obtain graduate training in their specialty areas and to receive engineering management training at the same time. Students are required to take 21 hours in principles of optimization, systems theory, decision theory, management, productivity and organizational performance, quality, and simulation. The remaining credits can be obtained from several optional courses.
