All programs are full time. The Master's program is a 48 unit program while the Ph.D. program consists of 70 required units. The M.A. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology is a terminal M.A. program that includes coursework consistent with certification for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. The goal of this program is to train students in the delivery of psychological services. The emphasis of our Ph.D. program is on the development of conceptual and clinical research skills and on training in empirically-validated clinical skills.
