Graduate-level course offerings in the department may be supplemented by courses in cognate departments, including Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Environmental Science and Engineering, Geology and Geophysics, Statistics, and Space Physics and Astronomy and by offerings at Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Texas Medical School and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and the University of Houston.
