Doctoral Ph.D. On Campus   The Department of Biological Sciences offers graduate programs leading to the M.S.,M,A., or Ph.D. degrees, but concentration is on the doctoral program. Major areas of emphasis are molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, and biochemistry. Furthermore, it is the aim of the the dept to prepare students for careers in teaching and research. In 2002, the department moved into the Dedman Life Sciences building, a state-of-the-art research facility.
