The Master of Education in Elementary Education includes coursework in psychological and sociological foundations, curriculum development, pedagogy, specialized content, and research. The program is intended to strengthen and enhance teaching skills, promote research and reflection on innovative teaching strategies, and expand content knowledge. By examining and reflecting on best practices, students have the opportunity to improve the qualities that make them effective teachers who respond to the emotional, motivational, cognitive, and cultural needs of all students.
