On Campus   Entering students in the Structural Biophysics program are primarily physics and chemistry undergraduate majors who have a strong interest in structural and physical areas of biology including X-ray crystallography, NMR, molecular dynamics and related computational areas, spectroscopy, etc. The Structural Biophysics program also appeals to some biology majors who have a very strong minor in physics or chemistry (and to the graduates of one of the few biophysics undergraduate programs). Upon entry, each student is given a diagnostic exam to identify possible areas of informational weakness that require remedial study.
