The curriculum for the Master of Science of Accounting has been especially designed for students who are seeking to have careers as senior accountants, auditors, and tax specialists. The Master of Science in accounting program provides graduate level courses in accounting the other functional areas required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The goals of the program are to meet the emerging needs of the accounting profession including the need to apply critical thinking and technology skills to analyze and resolve complex accounting issues. MS Accounting students who carefully select their courses may be able to sit for exams to be a Certified Public Accountant.
