This industry recognized and accredited international degree covers subjects such as Mathematics for Games, Artificial Intelligence, and Programming Games for the PC and XBox. All courses taught are 100% relevant to your subsequent career, and nearly 100% of all graduates obtain employment directly in the gaming industry. This degree is also the only one of its kind available in all of Canada, and one of the few available in North America. Once enrolled in the Master of Science (Computer Games Technology) degree you will have access to a variety of tools to assist you throughout your studies as well as with obtaining employment after your degree. You'll also be able to develop a game prototype and have it judged by key players in the industry in the annual Dare to be Digital competition. In addition, Algoma University has recently partnered with Toronto Rehab, presenting potential future opportunities for students interested in entering the world of serious games. The degree is granted from the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland and is taught through Algoma University in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada. It is taught via real-time videoconferencing and online meetings as well as labs and in class work. The degree begins in September of each year, and is only offered once per year. Students have the option of studying over 12 months (full time overtime), 16 months (full time regular) or 2 years (part time). Tuition: CAD 27 024 Financial Aid: yes
