Graduates have experience in cutting edge hardware and software and conceptual frameworks for assuming leadership roles, especially for managing information, projects, people, and departments. Students take 12 hours of writing and design in print and digital media; 11 hours in rhetoric, linguistics, organizational communication, editing, and project management; 9 hours of graduate electives in cognate courses; 9 hours of undergraduate coursework in a technical or scientific specialty of their choice; and a 14-week internship.
