The Professional Teacher Program is designed for the experienced elementary or secondary school teacher who intends to remain in the classroom and seeks further knowledge in a specialized field. The program is designed toencourage individual interest and to develop further the competencies of a master teacher toward careers as professional teachers, department chairpersons, coordinators, or educational leaders.
