Interdisciplinary programs are designed by individual students in cooperation with an adviser and representatives from selected programs. While the interdisciplinary program does not take the place of an established program, it draws from several disciplines to meet a special need, frequently for job-related requirements. The program should involve several disciplines and be directed by one faculty member from each discipline.
