Students prepare, through coursework and faculty-guided original research, to pursue career paths in the professions, academia, research, business, and industry. The Department of Biological Sciences is organized into the following divisions: (1) molecular biology, microbiology, and genetics; (2) physiology and anatomy; and (3) environmental biology.
