The MFA program prepares practicing artists for careers in painting, printmaking, sculpture, metals, and ceramics. This program requires a minimum of two years of full-time graduate study and conforms with the recommendations of the College Art Association for the preparation of college-level studio faculty. In addition to fulfilling the required number of hours, the students must successfully pass periodic reviews by members of the Department of Art faculty.
