A co-op option is offered for students who wish to combine study with industry experience. Research in the School covers a wide array of topics in both applied and theoretical computer science, and is supported by research grants and contracts from multiple agencies. Students have access to a rich computing environment, including a distributed systems laboratory, various specialized equipment, a high performance computing facility, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary study.
