We believe that writing is an intensely individual conjunction of many conscious and unconscious forces, but a writer can accomplish much through consciously perfecting his or her craft in a community of fellow artists who comfort, challenge, stimulate, and support. We avoid cults of personality and formulas for success and don't favor any particular aesthetic, ideology, style, or genre.
