Students will be expected to complete the core curriculum at SIPA during their first year and then pursue an area of specialization at CIDE in their second year, such as Public Management or Public Finance to name just a few. Most courses are conducted in Spanish, so a language proficiency is a prerequisite. By choosing to study at CIDE, located in Mexico City, students will have the opportunity to supplement their time in New York with courses at one of Mexico's most important centers of teaching and research in the social sciences.
