To complete the Master of Arts degree in Oral History at Columbia University, students take a minimum of 30 points of graduate course credit, in addition to an M.A. thesis.  The required courses include: Oral History Workshop(4010/4011) a two-semester series; Oral History Method and Theory (4015); Oral History: Fieldwork, Production and Archiving - a 2 semester series (4020); Social Science Contributions to the Analysis of Narrative and Life History (4025).
