The Human Resources Education (HRE) program is designed for HR specialists and educators who practice in non-school settings (eg. business, industry, government, hostpials).   It is designed to prepare people who can add value to their organizations in the area of human performance management.  As the speed of change increases in the Information/Knowledge era continues to emerge, organizations are increasingly called upon to to meet adaptive challenges.  Teh HRE program provdes the thoery and practical applicatioon to enable its graduates to lead initiatives that will make a differnce and sustain results in their destabalized environment.  The progam begins by setting a business and societal context, then moves to issues at the indivdual, groupm and organizational level that are the bailwick of HR.  It emphasizes consulting skills, change leadership, an learning as a primary intervention.
