Become a Registered Dietitian through our M.S. program in Nutrition and Dietetics. Apply your undergraduate credits in chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and anatomy and physiology toward your dietetics studies. Through course work, seminars, and applied practice, you'll use nutrition principles in the treatment of diet-related diseases; help individuals choose foods that will optimize health and prevent disease; manage human, financial, and physical resources to improve the nutritional status of individuals and population groups; and apply research principles and methods to examine current problems in nutrition. We also offer an M.S. program in Foods and Nutrition for students with professional credentials in health care (R.D., R.N., M.D., D.D.S., C.S.W., or R.Ph.) who seek to augment their professional knowledge with advanced academic preparation in foods and nutrition, but do not intend to practice as dieticians/nutritionists.
