M.S. in Fundraising In response to the outstanding acceptance of our continuing education courses and certificate programs, as well as the changing needs of a rapidly expanding profession, the NYU George H. Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising developed its Master of Science in Fundraising to offer advanced opportunities for professional growth and training in the field. The M.S. degree provides an opportunity for current and aspiring fundraising professionals to hone their skills in New York City, one of the world’s most vibrant philanthropic communities. Through a timely curriculum of scholarly and practical coursework, students explore the history, philosophy, and fundamentals of fundraising, the psychology behind giving, legal and ethical issues, and more. The Heyman Center’s program responds to an urgent need for well-rounded professionals in the U.S. and globally. Through class assignments, research experience, and a final project, you learn from our faculty of distinguished leaders in the field.
