Agricultural, extension, and adult education focuses on the study of formal and informal education systems. Current interests include the study of indigenous knowledge systems, technology and decision making, and the role of adult education in social and economic change and as a factor in sustainable development, technology, and decision making. The program also serves students seeking permanent certification to teach agriculture in secondary schools.
