The Department of Criminal Justice offers graduate study leading to the Master of Criminal Justice degree. Prospective graduate students are expected to have at least a 3.0 undergraduate grade-point average, coursework in methods and statistics and possess a bachelor's degree. Those who do not meet these requirements may be admitted conditionally and will be expected to make up any deficiencies at the outset of their program of study. Applicants must also submit to the department three letters of recommendation and a three-page essay on why they wish to attend the program.
