The MBA is a graduate program leading to the Master of Business Administration degree in human resource management. It includes the basic subjects offered in a traditional MBA curriculum, as well as a core of human resource courses designed to meet the specialized needs of today's managers.
This joint degree program offers cross-cutting themes in course work, including the globalization of the marketplace, ethical considerations and human resources' role in responding to changing technologies and demographics.
Entering students must meet the admission requirement for both the MA and MBA programs and must show evidence of skills in word processing, spreadsheets, quantitative analysis and probability and statistics. Should a student enter the joint degree program and decide to earn only one of the degrees, all the regular requirements for that degree program must be fulfilled.
