Students in the Graduate Program in Animal Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, prepare for rewarding careers in research and teaching in academia, government, the biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries, and in veterinary sciences. Located on the campus of Cook College, Rutgers' agricultural and environmental college, the program maintains facilities for research using dairy cattle, sheep, swine, horses and goats, as well as a modern facility for traditional laboratory animals. Students are involved in a wide range of research efforts using these facilities.
