The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Seton Hall University is the intellectual home to 14 faculty, over 80 undergraduate and 140 graduate students. Our location in the heart of the Tri-state area affords unique opportunities for interaction with the many local chemical-related industries. We offer undergraduate majors in Chemistry (ACS and non-ACS Certified) and Biochemistry, and we offer graduate studies and research in Analytical, Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Biochemistry, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Our relatively small size and attractive location provide a unique intellectual atmosphere that promotes interaction and student development.
