The MAE in Reading K-12 is a 36-credit hour program offered in a convenient online format for educators who are interested in acquiring the knowledge, skills, methodology to diagnose & facilitate instructional strategies. This may include classroom teachers, resource teachers, reading specialist or school administrators. All coursework is presented online, with the practicum completed in a school system at a location near you. This MAE in Reading K-12 degree prepares educators for professional certification with a Reading K-12 endorsement in the state of Nebraska. Students pursuing certification in other states must check with their State Department of Education for certification requirements. To pursue this degree, students must have a Bachelor's degree and a standard teaching certificate. For 2008-09, non-resident graduate online tuition is $281.50 per credit hour; resident graduate tuition is $180.25 per credit hour (fees are additional).
