On Campus

Curriculum and Instruction programs prepare educators to construct, develop, improve, and evaluate educational programs and how they are taught; i.e. third-grade mathematics or high school English, even college courses. Our certification programs teach you to become a Curriculum-Instructional Specialist, one whose "primary concern is the improvement of learning opportunities through the provision of instructional leadership" (NC State Department of Public Instruction).
