To facilitate such infusion, our research efforts range from highly theoretical studies to practical applications in a variety of technological and social areas. Some examples of theoretical studies are differential and algebraic system theory, differential geometry, nonlinear dynamics and control, distributed parameter systems, parallel algorithms, optimization methods, finite element methods and stochastic processes.
