Both qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods are emphasized, and practical experience is offered in conducting program evaluations and policy studies. Professionals in this field work with educational institutions and systems, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community organizations to analyze and assess their programs, and to help devise methods for improving and/or expanding goals or outcomes. Both the M.A. and Ph.D. programs accept only 10 students each per academic year.
